Glides
Posted by melissakeefe on October 24, 2007
My students have been working all week on glides. They have done a lot of research and have some great suggestions on what to do to reduce our ecological footprint. They are now working on putting together some presentations on the information that they have found. Wish me luck because next week we are making recycled paper!!

Greening our Environment
Posted by mberger on October 20, 2007
I have found this wonderful site: http://www.livescience.com/environment/top10_ways_green_home.html or on the same article: http://www.livescience.com/environment/060421_earth_day_tips.html
The third site which covers a variety of different science topics: http://www.livescience.com/
I hope that you will enjoy these sites. The article describes how we can become activists by changing our energy habits. I hope that when you read the article
see you Monday,
MJ

Posting articles

I am so impressed with everything that I am reading. I have recommended to some teachers here in the Metro area that don’t know how to use a teacher’s blog to look to yours as a wonderful example. As to posting articles you can upload the link, that will help in providing a direct link and immediate reading.
To all teachers: I am so impressed in your way to make your students advocates in becoming GREEN. You can only change by becoming active. You are all certainly modeling the way to become GREEN.
The one way is to go paperless in a many ways that are logical. Paper is still needed but we can recycle old paper to make new paper.
Brandy, I love your offer that is another way to receive articles. Thank you.
Peggy , thank you for that wonderful link to Edutopia and helping to make the call to student activism one that they will remember and hopefully continue throughout their life. It is a wonderful site.
See all of you on Monday
Mary
